Joshua Levi Corrigan was born last night, December 21st! Sally went into labor starting around 9pm and Joshua was born at 2:55am! Everything went so smooth, Sally was able to have him all natural, which in this day in age is rare, and the nurses were shocked. Joshua is a perfect little guy. He is 8 lbs 5 oz and is doing awesome! What a Christmas present to have a son born. So this Christmas season we are truly celebrating the incarnation of out LORD in a very unique way. Just thinking about how we had nurses at our care, monitors hooked up to Sally's belly, an awesome labor room with a huge whilrpool tub to labor in..... the perfect conditions. Plus when Joshua came out we had professionals make sure every square inch of him was healthy. He was wrapped in these perfect little blankets with a climate controlled room to make sure he is taken care of. Just think..... this was not so with our God becoming a baby! Wow what does this say about the nature of our LORD! He was wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger...... subject to the elements of the world!
